Nonprofit collecting electronics for recycling

The Artisans, a nonprofit that helps disabled people with job placement, is collecting electronics for recycling in celebration of Earth Day.

Any working or not working electronic item, whether it plugs in or has a battery, including televisions with CRT glass fronts, may be dropped off for free from noon to 6 p.m. Friday at the Spokane Valley Walmart, 5025 E. Sprague Ave., or the North Spokane Walmart, 9212 N. Colton St.
