PULLIAM, Margaret Frances
Our loving Mom went to be with the Lord and family on April 12, 2016.
She was born to Melvin and Margaret Hanson in Leonard, North Dakota on July 1, 1921.
She was a homemaker and we were very fortunate to have her at home.
She married the love of her life Bill Pulliam on January 1, 1944.
They met at a dance hall in August 1943.
They had 38 years together.
Dad passed away April 1982.
She was a life member of Knox Presbyterian Church and Mary Martha Circle.
She was also a Girl Scout leader and worked the election board for many years.
She enjoyed spending summers at the cabin at Loon Lake.
She loved to travel and went to Hawaii many times and on trips with her brother and sister to states back east.
She loved being with family and friends especially loved the grandchildren and great-grandchildren coming over.
Her house was always active.
She had a special time with her Pastor Don.
He would come and read to her twice a week and tell her jokes.
There was always cookies and coffee waiting for him, or whoever came by.
She is survived by daughter, Pat Tucker (Jim); son, Bill Pulliam (Daphne); six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Melvin Hanson, Spokane, WA; Beverly Myers, La Pine, OR; Arlene Foley, Roseville, CA; Richard Hanson, Lincoln, NE; Sandra Goben, Spokane, WA.
Margaret was the first born of six siblings and last to pass.
Services for Margaret will be at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday April 23rd, at 1:00 pm, 806 W. Knox.
