WOODWARD, Warren C.
(Age 87)

Warren Woodward passed away April 14, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

He was born July 28, 1928 in Pueblo, CO to Wayne and Jessie Woodward.

Warren was a Spokane-area resident since 1944.

He graduated from Central Valley High School, attended Whitworth College, and graduated from the Spokane Telegraph School.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea in 1952-1954.

He worked for the Great Northern Railway as a telegrapher / agent from 1949-1962.

In 1962, he joined Cominco American, retiring in 1990.

He was an avid golfer, outdoorsman, and stamp collector.

Warren was a lifetime member of the Oakesdale Masonic Lodge No.

55 F. & A.M., a member of the Morse Telegraph club, the Inland Empire Philatelic Society, The Gideons International, and the Berean Bible Church.

He enjoyed devoting as much time as he could to these organizations.

He is survived by daughters Vicki Hieronymus (Dan) of Clark Fork, ID; Joan Kuhlmann of Seattle, WA; and Sally Woodward (fiancĂŠ Dale) of Liberty Lake, WA; grandchildren, Torrey Kuhlmann and Emily Hieronymus; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Betty, brothers Arnold of Salinas, CA and Wayne of Emmett, ID.

He leaves behind numerous friends and family that will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22 from 3 to 6 PM with Funeral Services on Saturday at 3 PM, April 23, 2016 at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd.

Interment will follow at Pines Cemetery.
