Devoted father and beloved friend, lost a courageous battle with cancer, that swiftly took him away on April 20, 2016.
Kurt was born January 22, 1960 in Spokane, WA.
He graduated high school in Deer Park, class of 1978.
He worked most of his life as a proud employee of the Deer Park Golf Course and Country Club.
Kurt enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, family, friends and more fishing.
His greatest joy and accomplishment was his son Brandon, of whom he held most dear to his heart.
Kurt was full of jokes, smiles and laughter; which his friends and family will be forever grateful to have shared so many funny memories.
Kurt leaves behind Ila Evans; son Brandon Mittlestedter; sister Julie (Robert) Lane of Raineer, WA; brother Kenneth Mittlestedter of Springdale, WA; nephews: Darrell (Markelle) Russell, Samuel Lane and Patrick Mittlestedter; nieces, Daniella Buntun, Amanda Norris, Marissa Mittlestedter and Kathryn Lane; and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as a multitude of the very best friends a man could ever have.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ursula and father James Mittlestedter.
A Potluck Celebration of Kurts Life will be held at Mix Park, Friday April 29, 2016, at 5:00pm, in Deer Park, WA.
