Registration is open for Fetch! SCRAPS Amazing Race.
The event will be Sept. 10 at Riverfront Park. It’s a fundraiser for the SCRAPS Hope Foundation to provide medical treatment for homeless animals.
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges. On the day of the event there will be a long and short course, animal-themed challenges, a photo scavenger hunt and prizes.
Register online at SCRAPSHopeFoundation.org or on the day of the event at 10 a.m. It costs $10 per person, $20 per pack. Participants can start the race between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., activities end at 3 p.m.
The Spokane Regional Animal Protection Service is also looking for vendors to sponsor booths or pit stops during the event. For more information, call (509) 477-2984.
