Bank robbery reported inside Albertsons on Nevada

Two men robbed the U.S. Bank inside the Albertsons store at Nevada Street and Francis Avenue just before 6 p.m. Friday, escaping on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both were described as white or possibly Hispanic. They are in their 20s or 30s with thin builds and are both about 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall. One was wearing a green baseball cap and a green hoodie. The other was wearing a dark baseball cap. One was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.

The suspects were last seen heading south, said Spokane Police Department spokeswoman Officer Teresa Fuller. Police dogs attempted to track the two men.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
