Spokane police investigating convenience store robbery
Spokane police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Officers were called to the Amerimart at 3942 E. 29th Ave. at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, according to a police news release. They were told a white man in his mid-20s entered the business, indicated he was armed and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect was described as being 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing gray sweatpants and white sneakers and fled west of the business on foot.
