Obituary: Budik, Mark R.

Age 54

BUDIK,
Mark R.

May 22, 1961 -
January 26, 2016

On Tuesday January 26, 2016, the world lost a beautiful man.

Mark Robert Budik died at the side of his family peacefully in his home and exactly where he wished to be.

Mark was born on May 22, 1961 in Minnesota, but spent most of his younger teenage years in Spokane, WA.

In 1983 Mark and his wife at the time and mother of all three of their children, Debby Budik, moved to San Diego, CA, where they had their first and oldest child, Rachel Budik, in 1985.

Mark and Debby moved to Salem, OR in 1991, where they had their remaining two children, Joseph (1997) and Jesse (1998) Budik.

Mark and Debby were married 25 years, and remained great friends after they were no longer married.
Mark was a devoted and loving father to his three children, and in return they absolutely adored him and looked up to him as the person they wished to be like.

Mark had a way of touching people’s souls by just a simple conversation with him.

He was a genuine and generous man who was truly admired by many.

Mark was also a faithful and spiritual man and is now resting in Heaven where he belongs with his Savior.
Even though Mark was taken from us too soon, his legacy of the great man he was will last lifetimes and generations.
Mark is survived by his three children, Rachel, Joseph and Jesse Budik; his former wife, Debby Budik; Michael and Shari Dougherty, and Laurie Oliver who he always considered his brother and sisters; his sisters, Pam, Carrie, Sandra; brother, Christopher; and many nieces and nephews.

Marks Celebration of Life will be held at Silver Creek Fellowship, on Saturday February 6th, at 1:00pm.
