FISHER, Arthur William “Art”

Arthur William Fisher, son of LaVerne and Nora Fisher was born in Seattle on November 9, 1941.

He passed away on January 31, 2016 after a long illness with heart disease.

Arthur is survived by his wife of 24 years, Donna, at the home and daughter Caroline Dorsey of Deer Park.

Stepdaughters Dawnitta Schell of Spokane, Kimberly Olivetto (Mike) of Imperial Beach, CA and Terri Byrd (Rich) of Spokane.

Art is also survived by grandchildren Kjirsty, George, Mike, Desirae and Jenni Lin as well as three great- grandchildren.


Art graduated from Lewis and Clark High Class of 1960.

He also served in the U.S. Navy.

Throughout his life he belonged to the American Legion, Moose Lodge and was a great help to his wife Donna with her Masonic work.

He was a 65 year bowler receiving the “Senior Bowling Award”.

He was an avid golfer, gardener and enjoyed his daily walks.

Their yard is known for the Holiday inflatables.
Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00PM at VFW 51, 300 W Mission, Spokane.

Interment with Navy Military Honors will follow at 3:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
