Delbert A.
Spear was born September 30, 1925, to Bert A. and Pansy D. Spear.
His parents had homesteaded in Fort Benton, Montana, prior to moving to Four Lakes.
Del served in the Navy during World War II as Radarman 2C on the YMS 302.
One highlight of his life was being honored as a guest on the Honor Flight to visit the war memorials in Washington D.C.
Del is survived by his loving wife Delitha; one sister Doreen Kafer of Bothell, WA; children Janet (Chuck) Pettey of Spokane Valley; Steven (Lorna) of Cheney, WA; Delbert (Nan) of Spokane; Tim (Cheryl) of Boulder, CO; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Linda and sister Thelma.

A Celebration of Del’s Life will be held in the springtime.
