Gabriel E. de Roetth, 91, of Kihei, Maui, Hawaii passed away peacefully and with dignity January 25, 2016.
“Gabe” de Roetth is survived by his wife Maricruz, brother Peter de Roetth, two sons Mark, James, and a daughter, Rosemary from his first marriage to Jean Taylor.

He is loved by his stepchildren, Jason Coad and Veronica Dill.

He has five grandchildren, Ian, Michelle, Lorin, Heather and Ryan.
Gabe served in the Army during World War II as a chemical engineer, was a successful business owner, beloved teacher and tennis player.

He enjoyed his retirement on both Maui and at Coeur ‘d Alene, Idaho.

He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends.
