HEPWORTH, Lynn Marie
(Age 61)

Lynn Marie Hepworth, passed away January 31, 2016 at her home in Ariel, Washington, from compli- cations of esophageal cancer.

Daughter of William and Charlotte Allemani.

Born in Red Wing, Minnesota May 27, 1954.

Lynn’s family moved from Red Wing, Minnesota to Spokane, Washington in late 1954.

She attended St. Mary’s School, Shaw Jr. High, Roger’s High School, Spokane Community College, Whitworth College and Seattle University.

She married Paul Hepworth July 15, 1989.

She worked for Old National and First Interstate Banks; and 15 years for the Washington State Departments of Social and Health Services and Corrections.

Lynn also worked for Pacific Corp, and was instumental in various salmon hatchery facilities.

Lynn studied Go Ju Ryu Karate Do.

She loved all animals.

Her Alaskan Malamute “Smokey” won first place in the Spokane Dog training Club June 5, 1976.

Lynn was the most loving, caring and compassionate person, in addition to being fiercely independent.

She loved to cook, enjoyed spending time in her green house, traveling and home canning.

She is survived by husband Paul Hepworth of Ariel, WA; step-daughter Adrianne Munson of Portland, OR; father William Allemani; stepmother Sonja Allemani of Spokane; sisters, Virginia Lewis of Spokane, and Andrea Allemani of Las Vegas, NV; brother Jason Allemani of Spokane; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned.

A Celebration of Lynn’s life will take place later this spring.
