MYERS, Sharon Lee
(Age 82)

Sharon, of Spokane, WA, passed away February 6, 2016, of a heart attack.

She was born in Walla Walla, WA, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Myers.

Together they had three children, Deborah Myers (Bainbridge Island, WA), Christa Myers (Spokane, WA), and Terri Eliason (Spokane, WA).

During Rick’s service in the Washington State Patrol, Rick and Sharon lived throughout Washington State, including Spokane, Auburn, Tacoma, Vancouver, and finally returning to Spokane in 1978.

Sharon worked for the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services for over 25 years.

She fiercely loved her family and friends and is remembered by all as a kind and caring person.

Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, Crystal Whitaker (Kennewick, WA) and her father, Ralph Hutchens (Portland, OR).

She is survived by her husband Rick; her three daughters; her granddaughters Jessica Skelton (Seattle, WA) and Nicole Eliason (Rockford, WA); her grandson Zachary Morrow (Bainbridge Island, WA); her great-grandsons Jeremy Eliason and Jaiden Skelton; her great-granddaughters Jordyn and Jaylah Jonquet; and many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Women’s Hearth, 920 W. 2nd Ave., Spokane, WA 99201.

A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be announced at a later date.
