MURPHY, Clifford
Passed away on February 14, 2016 after years of suffering.
Clifford was born on August 2, 1943 in Hartleyville, Alberta, Canada to Clarence and Valentine Murphy.
They moved down to Moses Lake, WA when he was six years old and a few years later moved to Deer Park, WA.
He worked for many years helping different farms before working for Deer Park School District.
He worked first as a bus driver and then as a custodian for a total of 22 years.
He married his loving wife, Rosemary Staffanson Murphy and he always said that he chased her for so long that he couldn’t let her go.
They were married for 52 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary and seven children, Roberta Johnston, Jimmy Murphy, Dan (Bobbie) Murphy, Brenda (Ken) Craudell, Patricia (Jeff) Yates, Harold Murphy, and Carol (James) Osterud; as well as 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Leonard (Liz) Murphy of Deer Park, Simon (Sue) Murphy of Oregon, and Owen (Meda) Murphy of Utah; a sister-in-law Dorothy Murphy of Oregon.
He is preceded in death by his brother Waldo Murphy.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Riverside Ward, 34221 N. Newport Hwy, Chattaroy, WA 99003.
