Lucile passed away February 13, 2016 in Spokane, Washington.
She was born Lucile Elizabeth Woodward along with her twin sister Lillian on June 30, 1916 in Oakesdale, Washington.
Lu spent most of her life in the Oakesdale-Rosalia-Spokane area.
She worked at the Oakesdale branch of Seafirst Bank for many years where she eventually became the manager.
Lucile married Jack Hafstad in 1939.
After his passing she married Fritz Allert who also predeceased her.
Lu loved to travel and was a snowbird in Arizona for several years.
She also volunteered at PBS in Spokane.
Her last years were spent at Holman Gardens in Spokane.
She is survived by her sister, Rosamae Sterling; nieces, Mary Lou Weidman, Sylvia Sterling, Jeannie Paulson; nephew, Jerry Weiler; numerous other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Orace and Anna Woodward; stepmother, Lillian Woodward; sisters, Beatrice Woodward and Lillian Weiler; stepchildren, Maurice Allert and Yvonne Allert Carlson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20th, at the fellowship hall at Holman Gardens, 12912 E. 12th Ave. in Spokane.
A reception will follow.
Private burial will be at the Latah City Cemetery.
