Earl passed away January 21, 2016 in Valley Hospital.
He was born November 15, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Martha (Cox) Garlick and Earl Howell Garlick, then adopted by Edwin B. Talbot.
He retired from the Air Force/Army and also from the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services, Spokane, WA.
Earl is preceded in death by his mother, dad, adopted father and his brother David.
He is survived by his daughter Kathy Hudson of Spokane Valley, WA; son Michael (Reissa) Talbot of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren: Jessica (Scott) Anderson of Roundup, MT; Timothy (Dani) Hudson of Fallon, MT; Richard Talbot of Las Vegas, NV, and his sisters: Kathy of Las Vegas, NV and Patsy of Hawaii.
His first great-grandson will be born mid-February 2016.
Earl also leaves behind his lady friend Janet Jones and good friends Linda Renford, Marie Inge, Jim Ferderer, Ken Priest, Ernie and Shari Sheets, Brenda Anderson and many more; also his golf buddies Jim Cline, and Brent and Kris Sorenson.
He loved to play poker and golf and he was part of the Over the Hill Gang in Liberty Lake, WA.
He loved all his friends at the Spokane Valley Eagles; he was also a trustee of the Aerie’s #3433.
Earl was a kind and loyal friend to all who knew him.
He hated the cold, but loved Spokane.
Memorial Service for Earl will be at the Spokane Valley Eagles, 16801 E. Sprague, Spokane Valley, WA, February 27th at 4:00 pm with pot luck to follow.
