Nealene E.

Nealene Wallen passed away at her home on February 16th, 2016.

She was born to Raymond and Eleanor Wallen on May 1st, 1956 here in Spokane.

Nealene is preceded in death by her parents Raymond (1992) and Eleanor (2012), and her brother Mark (2001).

She is survived by her brother Rob; nephew Raymond; Aunt Dianne and Uncle Fred, as well as numerous cousins and special friends: Jeremy, Bridgette, Nona, Shantel and Margie.

In her early years, Nealene enjoyed figure skating and hockey.

While here in Spokane she worked in the hospitality industry and in the early eighties she moved to San Diego where Mark had resided.

While in San Diego, she worked in the trucking and hospitality industry.

She moved back to Spokane in 1990 and finished out her career.

In 1991 she took a break and spent some time working in Kelowna, BC at our Uncle Orla and Aunt Francis’ costume shop.

This was one of her favorite memories that she had spoken of many times.

She loved to decorate and would volunteer for anyone looking to jazz up a party.

Nealene will be sorely missed.
