Obituary: Sonnenberg, Paul E.

Age 52

SONNENBERG, Paul E.
(Age 52)

On February 16, 2016 Paul joined the Lord God our Father in heaven, following a two year battle with cancer.

Paul had a deep and loving faith in Jesus, and would stop and pray with people he saw in need of guidance as they too battled cancer, while at Cancer Treatment Centers of America.

Paul would share in their stories and pray with them until the tears had faded, and the comfort of faith in God surrounded them.
Paul was born August 3, 1963 in Moses Lake, Washington, the youngest of five children born to Reinhold “Ray” and Cornelia “Cora” Sonnenberg.

He was raised in Spokane and attended school on the north side.

He was a mechanic by trade, studying at Spokane Community College.

Paul enjoyed spending time in the garage tinkering with motorcycles or fixing the neighbors car that had broken down.

Paul is survived by his children Mark, Kamber, and stepsons Ramsey and Josh; siblings Mary Lou (Mike) Nadreau, Laura Ford; numerous nieces and nephews and one grandchild.

The family wishes to acknowledge Horizon Hospice, Christ Clinic, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and the staff at Valley General and Rockwood, as well as the congregation at Spokane North View Seventh-day Adventist Church for their support throughout the last years of his life.

Services to honor Paul’s life will be held Friday March 4, 2016, 1:00pm, at Linwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at 6525 N. Monroe Street, Spokane, WA, with Pastor Wayne Kablanow and Pastor Volody Nesteruk officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
