Rodney was born May 18, 1926 in Pasadena, CA and passed away February 17, 2016 in Spokane, WA.
He is survived by his wife Betty, son James in CA, daughter Susan Adams, also in CA, and seven grandchildren.
As a teen, Rodney parked cars on his parent’s property for the spectators attending the Rose Parade.
He made .25 cents per car with this endeavor.
Rod, an Air Force Veteran, has been a resident of Spokane since 1971.
He was a truck driver for Gifford Hill, Matchett Trucking, and Caterpillar which took him through the United States and Canada.
Betty and Rod traveled to Arizona, Mexico, and California, they also enjoyed taking cruises with friends and family.
A memorial reception will be March 2nd, 2016 from 1pm to 4pm at Orchard Crest Retirement Community, 222 S. Evergreen, Spokane Valley.
