Obituary: Rolly, E. Elaine
November 21, 1919-February 18, 2016
She was born in New Rockford, North Dakota to her parents Charles and Nellie Colony.
Surviving her in death is her son David Stevenson and daughter-in-law Julie Stevenson with their children April, Jamie and Mary, as well as Mary’s children, her great-grandchildren, Asher and Jesse.
Also, her grandson Todd Skipworth, his wife Kristine and their two children Amanda and Kayla.
She grew up through the depression.
After losing her first husband, retirement came in 1982 after working for 21 years as a loan officer at Fidelity Mutual Savings Bank.
She then married the love of her life, Bill Rolly that same year.
Her smile and sense of humor were infectious to anyone who met her.
A passion for gardening and flowers which has been passed down to generations always came with her one piece of advice: Only work in the garden an hour a day and always carry a white bucket then you will never lose the love for it.
