Drawdown planned for reservoir behind Little Falls Dam

The reservoir behind Little Falls Dam on the Spokane River could drop as much as 6 feet beginning Sunday.
Avista Utilities plans to draw down the reservoir during maintenance work on the dam’s spillway gates. After the initial drawdown, the reservoir will be partially refilled. The lower water levels will remain in place for about three months.
People recreating on the reservoir should be on alert for fluctuating water levels.
