EWU will host subregional of Legends Classic

The Eastern Washington Eagles men’s basketball team will host Bryant on Nov. 21 in Cheney and either Seattle or Louisiana-Monroe the following day in a four-team subregional of the Legends Classic, it was announced Wednesday by the Gazelle Group – hosts of the event.

Notre Dame, coming off an Elite 8 season, will play Colorado and Texas will meet Northwestern in the semifinals of the 10th annual event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The semifinals will be Nov. 21, with the championship and consolation games the next night.

In addition to the games played in Brooklyn, the four semifinalists will host two games each on campus beginning Nov. 12. EWU will play at Northwestern on Nov. 14 and at Texas on Nov. 17.

Football

Washington State wide receiver Gabe Marks was named to the Biletnikoff Award Watch List by the Tallahassee (Florida) Quarterback Club Foundation. The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the nation’s most outstanding receiver each year.
