Police seek witnesses to fight outside Lucky’s Irish Pub

Spokane police are looking for witnesses to a fight outside Lucky’s Irish Pub early Sunday morning that left a man in critical condition.

Someone called 911 to report a fight outside the bar at 408 W. Sprague Ave. around 1:30 a.m. Police found a man with head injuries lying on the sidewalk, according to a police department press release. The man was still in intensive care on Tuesday.

Police do not know what started the fight, said Cpl. Ben Green. Officers frequently respond to calls for fights at downtown bars near closing time, Green said.

The man had been at the bar with a friend and a fight broke out on the sidewalk as he was leaving. Anyone who witnessed the fight is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 458-2233.
