4 killed in plane crash near Idaho-Wyoming border

Associated Press

BOISE – Authorities say four people have died after a small plane crashed near the Palisades Reservoir along the Idaho-Wyoming border.

KTVB-TV reports that Bonneville County sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Casper says the plane crashed Sunday afternoon, just minutes after taking off from an airport in Alpine, Wyoming.

The two men and two women killed in the crash have not yet been identified.

Casper says the four-seat Cessna was left completely burned.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
