The man found in the Spokane River in the 16200 block of East Indiana Avenue on March 9 has been identified as 23-year-old Dillan Oatman.
A passerby reported seeing a partially submerged body in the river around 10 a.m. that day. The body was recovered by the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office dive team.
The cause of death is still pending further investigation, according to the Spokane County Medical Examiner.
