Passed away March 15, 2016.

She was born on September 12, 1921 in Bronx, NY to Leo and Edna (Oppenheimer) Brill.

She graduated from high School in Bronx in 1939.

She worked in clothing manufacturer’s show rooms.

Audrey sold war bonds at Yankee Stadium and bought a ticket to a Hadassah Dance where she met her future husband Bradley Bergman.

They married in Spokane November 27, 1947.

They worked in Bradley’s parents’ luggage store until it closed in 1962.

She gave birth to son Jeff in 1950 and daughter Carol in 1954.

She was mostly a stay-at-home mom and worked part-time as a retail women’s sales associate at the Crescent, Bernard’s and Savon’s.


Audrey was a life-time member of Temple Beth Shalom where she served in several volunteer capacities including Sisterhood President and Kosher Dinner chair in 1973.


She is survived by a son Jeff Bergman of Spokane; daughter Carol (Jerry) Strassman of Seattle; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nephews: Larry Bergman of Seattle, Dennis Bergman of Renton and Jeff C. Levy of Westbury, NY.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister Gloria Levy.
Funeral Service 2PM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel followed by interment at Mt.

Nebo Cemetery.
