Obituary: Cales, John R. “Randy”

Age 61

CALES,
John R. “Randy”
(Age 61)

Born January 26, 1955 in Hinton, West Virginia.
Passed March 5, 2016 in Spirit Lake, ID.

Randy was preceded in death by his father John O. Cales, sisters Judy Hedgecoth, Sandra June Cales, and brother Fred Cales.
He is survived by his wife Pamela of Spirit Lake, ID, son Jacob Cales of Pateros WA, stepson Stephen of Spirit Lake, ID, mother Barbara Cales, sisters Becky (John) Sorensen, and Debbie (Dan) Nursall, brothers Kenny Cales, Doug (Kathy) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Randy served in the U.S. Army from 1976 until 1978 as a Private 1st Class and was stationed in Germany.
Randy’s greatest passions in life were steelhead fishing and hunting.

He enjoyed many fishing and camping trips to Pateros with his dad which always ended with lots of fish plus some fish stories to go along with the return home.

Randy loved going into the mountains of North Idaho to hunt for elk and deer but we think they were able to elude his many attempts to shoot one.
Randy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
