LOWDEN, Charles E.
March 31, 1926 - March 15, 2016
Charles “Chuck”, loving husband, father, brother, uncle and dear friend died peacefully Tuesday after a sudden stroke.
Charles grew up in North Idaho and enlisted in the Air Force during WWII serving as a machinist during WWII and Korea.
While in the service, Chuck met Julia Turley and the two were married.
Chuck and Julia had two children, Sharon and Beverly.
After retiring from the military, Chuck and Julia moved to Spokane where Chuck remained until his death.
Chuck was a life-long Mason and long-time member of the Eagles Aerie 486.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife Julia and daughter Beverly.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon Cheney; two brothers, two sisters, close nephews, nieces and extended family.
Services will be held at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA 99206 at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2016 with graveside services following.
Viewing will be Friday, March 18, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Thornhill Valley Chapel.
