Kay Donna (Keyser) Russell, of Spokane, Washington went to be with her Lord and Savior March 21, 2016, blessed to be surrounded by her family and friends at the Hospice House of Spokane.

Kay will be remembered for her kind- ness, generous nature, and caring - she always put others first.

Kay was born July 16, 1934 to Thelma and Emmett Keyser in Butte, Montana.

She graduated in 1952 from Butte Central High.

She attended Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.

Kay met the love of her life, Al Russell, and was married November 24, 1962.

They have four beautiful children, Renee Lin, Randal Lee, and twins Kenneth Leo and Kay Lora.

In addition to being a loving mother, wife, and volunteer, Kay worked for The American Red Cross and was a social worker for The Family Court Services in Kalispell, Montana from 1978-1985.

During the period between 1985-1989, she utilized her capacities to nurture by assisting with her parents and helping with their care.

From 1990-1996, she worked in Property Management at the Eagle Bend Golf Course in Bigfork, MT.

She retired in 1996 and moved to Lewiston, Idaho where she was involved in her church community and volunteered her time at the Life Choices Clinic.

She moved to Spokane, Washington to be near her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed crafting with her friends at Broadway Court and watching her grandkids play in various sporting events.

Kay enjoyed the freedom to travel and visit special places as well as celebrate her 80th birthday in Hawaii.

Kay was one of the kindest and most caring people, one who touched so many lives in her journey through this life.

She also promoted her faith, encouraging people to find salvation.

We are privileged and blessed to be touched by a most gracious and loving woman, and she will greatly be missed but never forgotten.

Kay is survived by Al Russell and their four children Renee (Craig) Matthews, Randy (Shawna) Russell, Ken (Shannon) Russell, all of Spokane WA, Kay (Charles) Curran, Sparks NV; eleven adoring grandchildren; brother Kerry (Doris) Keyser, Billings MT; sister-in-law Jessie Keyser, Northridge CA; and nieces, nephews and their extended families.

Services will be at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home (509-924-9700) located at 1306 N. Pines Rd., Spokane, WA 99206 on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at 3:00pm.
