Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will return to Spokane on Thursday, one of three campaign stops he’ll make later this week for rallies in some of the state’s biggest venues.

The Vermont senator will hold an afternoon rally at Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, his campaign announced Wednesday morning. Doors on the northeast side will open at 9 a.m. Thursday, but the program isn’t scheduled to start until 2 p.m.

After Spokane, Sanders will travel to Yakima for a rally at the Yakima Valley SunDome at State Fair Park, an event at 7 p.m. Thursday. On Friday, he’ll hold an evening rally at Safeco Field in Seattle.

Sanders was in Spokane and Seattle on Sunday. The campaign visits are just days before the state Democratic precinct caucuses on Saturday morning. Sanders trails Democratic Party leader Hillary Clinton in delegates but scored a victory Tuesday night in Idaho’s county caucuses.

All of the events are free, although parking at the Spokane Arena will be $10. Admission is on a first-come basis and participants are asked not to bring bags, limiting what they bring inside the Arena to small items like keys and cellphones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners on sticks won’t be allowed through security.
