BAILEY, Gardner Stanton

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gardner Stanton Bailey on March 23, 2016.

A Memorial Service will be held for him at Riverview Retirement Community, located at 1801 East Upriver Drive, Spokane, on Saturday, March 26, from 10 am - 12 noon.

Gardner was born in Roanoke, Virginia on June 2, 1936.

He spent most of his childhood in New Haven, Connecticut.

He joined the Air Force as a Navigator and then finished his career with the military with the Air National Guard based in Spokane.

His was a dedicated member of the Hobnailers Hiking group and enjoyed flying as a private pilot.

He is survived by his brother, John Bailey, his two daughters, Diane Bailey and Rebecca DeLong, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed.
