DELEO, Thomas Lyn

Thomas Lyn DeLeo, 35, passed away in his sleep, March 20, 2016 at his home is Spokane, WA.

Tom was born in Bonners Ferry, ID on December 8, 1980 to Tim and Jackie DeLeo.

He attended school in Libby and Troy, Montana and Spokane and Riverside Washington.

He was a Carpenter by trade and found his passion in Finish Carpentry.


Tom welcomed his first born son, Even, on November 27, 2002 with Even’s mom, Tesha Bunke.

In 2007, he met Amanda Willumsen, and proudly made her his wife on January 23, 2009.

Together they added to their family with the birth of Harper Ann in 2010 and Holter Michael Henry in 2015.
Tom enjoyed the outdoors; BBQing, fishing and camping as well as experimenting in the kitchen.

He was proud of his Italian heritage and often prepared Italian favorites for friends and family.

Tom especially loved spending time with his children; teasing his teenage son, Even, about girls and watching their favorite movies; playing dress-up and riding bikes with his young daughter, Harper; and bonding and cuddling with his infant son, Holter.


He is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Lynn DeLeo, paternal grandparents Ben and Elizabeth DeLeo, and maternal grandmothers, Thelma Larsen and Lois Holder.
Tom is survived by his wife, Mandy and children Even, Harper and Holter; his parents Tim and Shellie; brother Sean and wife Sarah; sisters Jaime, Jacquelyn, Tessa and husband Otis; Tifani and fiancĂŠ Keith; and Gabrielle.


A Rosary and Viewing will be held Saturday, April 2nd, 11:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Troy, MT.

Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. with burial and reception to follow.
Tom’s giant stature and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew him.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted (Matthew 5:4).
