Henry Mroch has been named the 2016 Spokane WWAMI Track Teacher of the Year at University of Washington School of Medicine – Spokane. Mroch was nominated by students at the university
Kenneth S. Anderson has been named dean of the Gonzaga University School of Business Administration. Anderson previously served as the interim dean of the school since Jan. 1, 2014. He has been with the university for 30 years and served as the associate dean of the School of Business from 2008 to 2013.
Finance
STCU has hired Sean Watt as the vice president for retail delivery. Watt has 23 years of sales, lending and branch administration experience with financial institutions and was previously senior vice president of the Idaho region for the Bank of the Cascades. In addition, the credit union has promoted Patricia Kelly from director of enterprise security and data management to vice president for information technology. Kelly joined STCU in 2000 and has 28 years of technical leadership experience.
Caryn Knight has been hired as support in the area of compliance/internal auditing/risk management for both Spokane Federal Credit Union and Progressions Credit Union. Knight holds her Credit Union Compliance Expert certification from the Credit Union National Association.
Health care
William Kane has been named executive director of the Spokane Center for Independent Living. Previously, Kane was deputy director for the Statewide Independent Living Council of Tennessee.
Nonprofit
Gordon Cudney, vice president of Apex Industries for 23 years and founding board member of Impact Washington, is retiring. Impact Washington was originally Washington Manufacturing Services, and Cudney was a member of the board of directors for 20 years.
Fawn Schott has been named president and chief executive officer of Volunteers of America of Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho. Schott was previously the director of programs for the Family Impact Network of Spokane.

Emma Romo has joined RE/MAX Select Associates Inc. as a sales associate.
Tomlinson Beutler Group of Companies has been ranked in the top 500 real estate brokerage firms nationwide in RISMedia’s 28th Annual Power Broker Report. The rankings are based on a national survey of residential real estate brokerage firms according to closed transaction numbers and closed sales volume.
Transportation
Kyle Carosella has been named Mechanical Safety Employee of the Year by BNSF Railway Co. Carosella is the working labor foreman at the Hauser fueling depot. He joined BNSF in 2014.
