On October 6, 1917, Hallie Sophia (Bower) Sharp was born in Cashmere, Washington to John Martin and Eva Luella Bower.

She passed away on April 26, 2016 in Deer Park, Washington at the age of 98.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ed; her son, Terry Lee; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her sisters, Clarice, Ariel, May and Aretta and her brothers, Marion, Ed and Benjamin.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl, Glenda, Robin and his wife, Kathy; Chet, Carroll and his wife, Susan; Eddie and his wife, Coleen and Boyd and his wife, Anne.

In addition, there are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.

Hallie had a passion for reading, loved working crossword puzzles and was constantly crocheting.

Many of her doilies are prominently displayed in the many homes of her loved ones.

Her faith in God was steadfast and enduring, sustaining her in many instances of her life.

Hallie was the eighth generation of her family who immigrated to America from Europe.

She lived to see an additional four generations added to her life line.

She was much loved and will be missed by a multitude of family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Hennessey Funeral Home & Crematory, 2203 N. Division St., Spokane, WA.

A Funeral Service will follow at 12:30pm at the same location.
