Claudia Scholz, Myron Pflugrad, Timmy Pflugrad and Will Shaw, members of the team Gray Matters, search the legends of the sculptures on the Spokesman-Review Production Facility for clues, Friday, May 6, 2016, during a scavenger hunt around Spokane. Touchmark, the assisted living center on the South Hill, organized an event dubbed The A-MAY-zing Race and sent six teams of three to four residents to several different locations seeking answers to questions about Spokane history. Teams went to Spokane City Hall, the Spokane County Courthouse, the Spokane Public Library and several other locations. The teams will tally their times from five days of outings to determine the winners of the overall event. (Jesse Tinsley / The Spokesman-Review)
