Age 76


HERDMAN, Rosemary McDonald

Rosemary passed away on May 4, 2016 in Spokane, WA.

She was born on June 16, 1939 in Spokane to Norton and Jessie Doust McDonald.


She graduated from Holy Names Academy.

She also attended Spokane Community College and Washington State University.

Rosemary did modeling for the Crescent Department Store and worked in the fashion department.

She also taught modeling at Drezden Modeling School.
In June of 1963, Rosemary married Keith D. Herdman at St. John’s Cathedral All Saints Chapel.

She worked for Seattle First Bank for 20 years.

Rosemary enjoyed golf, snow skiing, ballroom dancing, medical libraries, and traveling to the Oregon Coast.


Rosemary had a natural green thumb and she loved planting flowers and home landscaping.

Some of her natural ability came from assisting her mother at McDonald’s Florist and Prime Timer Ski Club.

She was member of St. John’s Cathedral since 1961.

Rosemary was also a member of the Lupus Foundation of America N.W.

Chapter and Mt.

Spokane’s Prime Timer Ski Club.


The family would like to thank the Hospice House North for all of their loving and compassionate care.

A private burial will be held at St. John’s Cathedral Columbarium Garden.

At Rosemary’s request no services will be held.
