Obituary: Oversby, Charles Allan

Charles Allan
(Age 71)

Charles A. Oversby of Medical Lake WA, died peacefully at his home on May 1, 2016, after a short battle with cancer.

Charles is survived by his wife Linda, and his son and daughter-in-law Chuck and Taunya Oversby.

He also leaves behind two grandchildren Gregory and Jason Oversby, two step grandchildren Harley and Maxwell Estep, as well as siblings Marie and Fred Wagner, Mary Jean Shauf, Don Oversby, Jack and Jean Oversby; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends and family from the East Coast to the West Coast.

Charles served in the U.S. Air Force beginning in Oct. of 1964.

His overseas tour took him to Vietnam.

He also served overseas in Thailand and Iceland.

And stateside at Pease Air Force Base, NH and at Mountain Home, ID before retiring in 1990 at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Charles will have a full military service at the Washington Veteran’s Cemetery in Medical Lake, WA on Friday, May 13th at 10:30 am with a Memorial Service immediately following at Lake City Assembly of God, in Medical Lake, WA at 12:00pm.
