HUBAL, Jason Anthony
(Age 40)
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 11AM at our First Baptist Church of Deer Park for Jason Hubal, who passed away on May 8, 2016 due to complications of Muscular Dystrophy.
A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Born to Grace Hubal and the late Senior Chief Anthony Hubal on November 11, 1975 at the Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego.
Moved to Deer Park in 1993 and graduated from Deer Park High School in 1994.
Jason was author of two Sci-fi novels and a Christian novel.
He was a ‘Shepherd’ volunteer for the online missionary Global Media Outreach for many years, reaching out to nearly 2,000 people world-wide who were seeking Christ.
His passion was serving God and it was quite evident in all that he did for others throughout the decades.
Despite his disability, he excelled at everything… writing poetry, getting involved in the community, writing music, and being part of online Bible study and disability groups.
He strongly believed that “With God All Things are Possible.”
Jason will be remembered as a kind and compassionate young man.
For now, he is laughing and jumping in God’s embrace.
He is survived by his mother, Grace Hubal of Deer Park, his sister Holly and her husband Josh Krautkraemer of Mead, and numerous family members across America.
His father, Anthony, preceded him in death.
Spokane Cremation was in charge of arrangements.
Jason’s and his father’s ashes, and family pet Lucy’s ashes will be scattered from atop Mount Constitution on Orcas Island in the San Juans, followed by petals of daisies.
Donations of love, peace, kindness, forgiveness, and faith is what Jason requests of others.
