Of Spokane, WA went to be with the Lord on the 12th of May, 2016.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Bill was born on November 15, 1931, in Potlatch, ID, to Andrew and Ida Belle Weber.
He attended NC High School and then in 1951 enlisted in the Army and was stationed in Germany.
Bill met his wife Darlene J. Weber (Melior) on a blind date and they married in April of 1954, in Spokane, WA.
After returning home from the Army Bill went to work for Fruehauf Trailers for several years until starting his own business, Bill’s Heli-Arc Welding.
After retiring they moved to Seven Bays, WA where he was able to enjoy his love of fishing as he had for so many of his previous years with his family at Priest Lake and Lake Pend Oreille.
He even built a boat that they enjoyed for many years.
Bill was very active over the years and enjoyed many hobbies like boat racing, flying kites, golfing, camping, traveling by motorhome, hooking latch hook rugs, and the many social activities with his family and many friends.
He was preceded in passing by his brothers Louis and Loren and sisters Audrey Merten, and twin sister Roberta (Bobbie) Weathers.
Bill is survived by his wife Darlene of 62 years; two sons, David, of Spokane WA, and Danny of Deer Park, WA; and daughter Christie Hausman of Spokane, WA; four grandchildren, Levi, Tina, Chase and Braeden all of Spokane, WA; three great-grandchildren and the many other family members and friends.
Two very special thoughts that Bill held close to him in the final days were “God is as close your breath” and “God is Love” .
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on the 17th of May at 11:30 am at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 West Wellesley Ave., Spokane, WA, with graveside services to follow at 12:30pm.
At the completion of the services all are invited to join the family at Mama Mia’s Restaurant, 420 West Francis.
