A Kettle Falls couple that had been missing since early May was found dead in the Kettle River Monday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol reported Paul H. Schneider, 72 and Lynne K. Schneider, 71, were driving northbound on State Route 395 about 25 miles north of Colville in Ferry County when their truck left the road and entered the river, according to a news release.
Family reported the pair missing May 1. An alert released shortly after said Paul Schneider had serious medical problems and his wife had Alzheimer’s.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
