Missing man found in the Spokane River

The body of a man found Nov. 6 in the Spokane River near Post Street has been identified as Worthy Roseberry, who was reported missing by his family on Oct. 23.

Roseberry, 24, was last seen on Oct. 19, when he told his family he wanted to “go out.” His family reported that his cognitive function was that of an 8- to 10-year-old child. Spokane police searched for him but were unable to locate him.

The cause of Roseberry’s death is still under investigation, the police department said.
