The Dirt: Grocery Outlet opens store in Airway Heights

Grocery Outlet Bargain Market has opened a newly constructed store in Airway Heights.

The 17,500-square-foot store, located at 10831 W. Highway 2, hired 25 employees for the site.

The retailer joins other recent tenants including Dollar Tree, Pawn One, Jimmy Johns and Super Cuts for the new Hayford Crossing shopping center at the southwest corner of Hayford Road.

Contractor Meridian Construction & Development, of Spokane Valley, is building the retail center that’s nearing completion.

The Airway Heights store is Grocery Outlet’s sixth in the region. The chain’s other outlets include ones in downtown Spokane, Spokane Valley, north Spokane, Coeur d’Alene and on East Sprague in Spokane.

Based in Emeryville, California, Grocery Outlet has more than 250 stores in six states.

Dutch Bros. Coffee opens in Post Falls

A Dutch Bros. Coffee outlet has opened in Post Falls. The new site is at 3782 E. Mullan Ave.

Locally owned and operated by husband and wife Jeff and Brandi Buller, this is the couple’s first Dutch Bros. location in Post Falls. It joins the Bullers’ two other stores in Coeur d’Alene.

Browne’s Addition apartment building sold

An apartment building on Oak Street in Browne’s Addition has sold.

McCoy Real Estate LLC, of Simi Valley, California, purchased the eight-unit apartment building at 104 S. Oak St. for $549,000.

Ryan Towner and Dallas Lightner, both of Black Commercial, were the brokers.

Apogee Medical leases space in CdA

Apogee Medical Management is taking over a space previously occupied by Night Hawk Radiology in Coeur d’Alene, under a sublease agreement, at 601 E. Front Ave. It will occupy more than 10,200 square feet.

Fix My Phone moving into Northtown Square

Fix My Phone LLC has leased quarters in Spokane’s Northtown Square.

The cellphone repair business will occupy 1,300 square feet of space at 4805 N. Division St.

Colin Conway and Chad Carper, of Kiemle & Hagood, represented the landlord. Tim Hatley, of Hatley-Cobb Real Estate, assisted the tenant.
