Man arrested at Greenacres Park for taking photo under restroom stall
A man was arrested in Greenacres Park Monday afternoon after he allegedly slipped his cell phone under a bathroom stall partition and took a picture of a teenage girl.
The 17-year-old girl told Spokane Valley deputies that she used the bathroom at 11 a.m. and saw that someone was in the first stall with a black coat slung over the door, so she used the stall next to it. She said she returned just before 2:30 p.m. to find the same person in the same stall, based on the visible clothing, shoes and coat slung over the door, according to court documents. Concerned, she asked if the person was okay and heard a female voice say “I’m fine,” according to court documents.
After this exchange she used the other stall again and told deputies that as she did she heard a camera click and saw a flash. She looked down to see a cell phone withdrawing from her stall.
When deputies entered the bathroom a few minutes later they found a man wearing the shoes and pants the girl described. He was reportedly holding a cell phone and a container of KY jelly, according to court documents.
Garry L. Davis, 30, has been booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of voyeurism.
