2,000 sheep block highway near Boise

A major Idaho highway was blocked Tuesday as 2,000 sheep headed to their summer home.

KTVB in Boise reported that Highway 55 near Eagle, Idaho was blocked by police so sheep could make the crossing safely.

Rancher Frank Shirts has been making the journey with the sheep for about 20 years, he told the station in an interview.
