Police searching for bank robbery suspect

Spokane police are searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank Saturday on North Nevada Street.

Around 4 p.m., a man reportedly told a teller at U.S. Bank inside Albertsons he had a weapon and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 white male in his 40s with medium build and a beard. He was also wearing a dark blue Seattle Seahawks sweatshirt and a multicolored stocking cap.

Anyone with information on the incident or the identity of the suspect is urged to call crime check at (509) 456-2233 and reference case No. 2017-20252292.
