Gonzaga concert inspiring

On the afternoon of Saturday, December 9, I attended the Gonzaga University Christmas Concert, featuring four choirs and multiple instrumentalists. From the moment the groups entered the St. Aloysius sanctuary by candlelight, to the final note of the entire church singing together, to “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” it was breathtaking! Congratulations to the music directors, musicians and student choristers. The musical selections, the transitions, the delivery and the sincerity of the presentation were flawless and pure class.

Not only was every single note exquisite, but the spirit of worship pervaded the two and a half hours of pure heaven. In spite of the darkness of the world apparent in the daily news, for a period of time on Saturday I was completely refreshed and filled with hope.

Thank you, Gonzaga, for your incredible gift. My heart is ready for Christmas.
