Two-car crash causes power outage near Republic

A Monday morning collision near Republic blocked State Highway 21 for several hours and caused a power outage in the area.

The Washington State Patrol said a two-car collision brought down power lines in the roadway at milepost 172, 12 miles north of Republic.

The highway was blocked in both directions as troopers cleared the scene.

Nobody was injured in the collision. The road re-opened around 11:30 a.m.
