29-year-old man convicted in Fort Hall killing

POCATELLO, Idaho – A federal jury has convicted a 29-year-old man of second-degree murder for the death of his cousin.

Demetrius Gomez, of Fort Hall, shot his cousin with a close-range shotgun blast at a home there, the U.S. attorney’s office for Idaho said.

Gomez will be sentenced on March 21. Gomez faces up to life in prison.
