Spokane is getting another moment to shine this week when C-SPAN cameras visit as part of its 2017 Cities Tour.

Crews will be in town Sunday through Thursday to film literary and historic sites, interview local historians and talk to nonfiction authors. Spokane is scheduled to be featured on Book TV (C-SPAN2) and American History TV (C-SPAN3) on Sept. 2-3.

Filming sites include the Campbell House, Bing Crosby’s childhood home and the Davenport Hotel. Writers scheduled to be interviewed include Jerrelene Williamson, author of “African Americans in Spokane” and Jack Nisbet, author of “Ancient Places: People and Landscape in the Emerging Northwest.”
