Game 81: The Seattle Mariners (39-41) face the Los Angeles Angels (42-41) in the first of a three-game series at 7:07 p.m. at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

The Mariners come off a disappointing two-game sweep at home to the Philadelphia Phillies, who entered the series with the worst road record in MLB.

The M’s are 6-4 in the last 10 games, but have lost four in a row – after reaching a season-high two games over .500 – and have fallen to fourth in the A.L. West, 15 games behind division-leading Houston and are 2.5 games out of a wildcard spot. Seattle is 14-24 on the road.

The Angels are 6-4 over their last 10 games, sit in second in the division and one game out of a wildcard spot. They are 22-17 at Angel Stadium this season.
